We Are The Champions! Oradell 3/4, River Dell Flowers Brings Home The Title!

In a remarkable display of talent, teamwork, and determination, River Dell Flowers clinched the championship title this past Saturday. This hard-fought victory not only brings pride to the community, but also shines a spotlight on the unwavering commitment and passion for the game, as well as the Oradell Softball program. Let's dive into the thrilling journey of River Dell Flowers as they soared to new heights and etched their names in the books of softball history.

The road to victory was paved with numerous challenges and formidable opponents. The playoffs included two hard fought wins where the team had to earn each pitch, each hit and each run. The championship was also no walk in the park, demanding relentless dedication and extraordinary skills from every player and coach. Through intensive practice, quality coaching, and an unyielding spirit, these exceptional athletes stood tall, ready to leave their mark.

Facing a formidable Emerson team, River Dell Flowers fought tooth and nail, demonstrating unrivaled grit and composure. Oradell took an early lead, however Emerson refused to go down easy and clawed their way back, tying the game at 7 - 7 in the top of the 5th inning. Oradell did not let that deter them though as they gained another run in the bottom of the 5th, and their ace pitching closed out the top of the 6th, wrapping up an explosive and emotional finale.
