Oradell 12U & 14U Combine to Close Out Fall 2022

It was a beautiful fall day in Oradell, as two of our fall teams combined this past Saturday to square off against the coaches and parents. We played 5 great innings with pizza and celebrations to boot.

Congratulations to season award winners...

For the 14U team... Lexie Hart, Kristen Lee and Norah Kapp, all took home pitching awards, while Alyssa Sgambati took home the batting and stolen base awards. Norah Kapp brought home the team's home run award.

For the 12U team... Samantha Breyer brought home the team's batting and home run awards, while the pitching award goes to Adriana Logano. It should be noted that the team has two beginner pitchers, Taylor Mansfield and Riley Konidaris, who helped contribute this season. Ruby Holmes brought home the team's stolen base award.

Thank you to coaches on both teams, Chris Sgambati, Joe Pezzuti, Jordan Kapp, Joe Zuccaro, Chris Holmes and George Konidaris. Honorary Coach and "Pickle Perfectionist" award goes to Forest Rosen, who assisted and scored our games. These coaches put in countless hours of practice and game time.

We would like to note that Oradell Softball fielded four other teams this fall. It is exciting to see the enthusiasm for the sport, continue to grow in our town. Thank you to the Ladies and Gentlemen of Oradell Little League, including President and fellow manager, Will Rupp, and Commissioners Joeng Kim and Tack Kim, who continue to provide a wonderful organization, where the softball division can grow. Thank you to Glenn from Oradell Recreation and OLL Board Member, Anthony Mellaci, who were there for us, preparing our fields before games.

Stay tuned for more news from Oradell Softball as we prepare to begin indoor winter clinics next month. We look forward to seeing everyone continue to support these great athletes in the spring.
